EDITS+ HIPAA Compliance
EDITS+ addresses security requirements thoroughly. A full-featured permissions system is part of the application. Additionally, visit access is captured in audit logging that tracks the user who accessed a visit, when the access took place, what was viewed or changed, and what ,if any, changes were made. The audit information is readily accessible via a user interface included in the EDITS+ System Administration application.
HIPAA Compliance
- User ID and password are required for logon
- Application timeout is featured
- Expiring passwords are supported
- Passwords can be reset by users or administrators
- All application and data access is logged and visible in the EDITS+ System Administration user
