Key demographic information can be loaded into EDITS+ through HL7 transactions, flat file interfaces, or data entry.

EDITS+ loads the system with the Name, Date, MRN, and ERTFN for each patient that presents in the emergency department.
Every patient record that is either Coded, Uncoded, or in a Pending status is accounted for and reported.
Every chart can be tracked. If it belongs in the system, it will be in the system.
EDITS+ accepts information through HL7 formatted interfaces, transactions, or data entry.
