EDITS+ supports a proactive quality assurance process.

Coding Audit

For audit purposes, visits can be selected for routing to an overcoding queue, where they can be arranged in priority-order for review, prior to transfer to a billing queue. A quality assurance reviewer can then examine and correct the visit as needed.

As part of the audit, level assignments, diagnosis, and CPT error corrections are captured and scored. QA results are then summarized in a report.
